Inexpensive and good value

We just recently stayed at the flamingo and found the staff to be very helpful and charming. The hotel amenities were very good for the price we paid, the hotel was near the falls and all the rest of the other major attractions.

Cheap And Memorable stay

I have been to this place with my family and is highly impressed by the good service from this family hotel. the breakfast was served in a very humble manner.

Don't trust the web site

The web site offers mini-fridge and microwave in "All rooms and suites", and then when selecting the individual type of rooms, you'll read the room has "all the amenities listed above". Not true. The fridge and microwave are on request, and makes the room more expensive. And when I complained, because my baby's food got spoiled for not being in a fridge, I was told "I get what I paid for" and they refused to compensate me for the wrong and misleading information in the web site. Besides that, the room are in quite poor state of maintenance.

Ok but watch out for the street hockey teams

The flaming was a nice basic motel. The rooms were old and a little worn but they were very clean ( some have no view and are dark)and the motel itself is right on main road so it is easy to get everywhere.The Staff was great.The pool was small.The only problem is that the hotel is a favorite with boys street hockey teams. There is a big tournament in July.The place is overrun by 11-18 year old boys who are very rowdy. When they are at games the place is very relaxing.There are teams at several nearby hotels as well.Its good for a short stay but it is a 10 minute drive to the falls.
