La Quinta Inn & Suites Nashville Airport, Nashville

We booked 4 rooms for group travel 9/22/2007. ALL rooms were clean and comfy.. and the AREA WAS SAFE! If you don't know the Nashville Area, there are some areas you DONT want to stay (I've stayed near Trinity Lane - nice hotel, BAD area) This hotel was the BEST value I've EVER gotten for my money. We typically stay downtown (Lowes, Wyndham Union Station, Doubletree, Hilton, Renaissance) Having said that - I am accustomed to "swankier" hotel accomodations, and just couldn't afford those prices this trip. Since we were in a group, we needed an economical, clean hotel in a safe area. THIS WAS IT!! Easy on/off expressway, 10 minute drive to downtown/vanderbuilt area. Plenty of food nearby - KMart across the street. I booked my room thru the hotel website, used my AAA membership and got a $67.50/nite rate. I didn't expect such CLEAN COMFY accomodations for this price. I will recommend to ANYONE staying in that area that is looking for economy to book the LaQuinta on Donelson Pike (theres another one on Briley - I've never stayed there).. BOTH hotels advertise as Nashville Airport hotel - I am refering to the one on Donelson pike - just so there's no confusion. We didn't get to use the pool, but it sure looked clean, inviting and invigorating since it was over 90degrees!! Didn't get to take advantage of the free breakfast - opted for Waffle House after checkout (across the street). Its not the Lowe's, but they were the NICEST rooms we've ever gotten for a budget price! Again - 4 rooms (1 smoking, 3 non smoking) and the only complaint was a noisy bathroom fan and 1 toilet that didn't like to flush... No complaints on the other 3 rooms. If enjoying the Downtown nite life, its a $15-20 cab ride to/from the downtown area...
