Le Soleil Hotel, Lido di Jesolo

,My husband and I have just returned from 2 weeks at this hotel and had a very nice time there. The hotel is centrally situated with bars shops and restuarants round about. Our room looked onto the plazza aurora and we enjoyed the entertainment there on Sunday night from our balcony.Our room was not very big but enough for the two of us. The shower room was spotlessly clean with a lovely corner shower unit. The meals were very good with a buffet breakfast (hot and cold) and dinner was a salad buffet to start then waiter service with about a choice of 4 starters, main course and a good selection of sweets or crackers and cheese. It would have been nice to have some entertainment in the hotel some evenings as a couple of nights we were held in the hotel because of thunderstorms and we just had to read our books.which was fine for us being senior citizens but there were some young families there as well and they were at a loose end these nights. One complaint we had was that you had to pay 7.5 euros per day for a sun bed at the pool. we thought this was a bit expensive so we just used the free beds on the private part of the beach which the hotel designated to you for the duration of your holiday. I asked at reception for an extra pillow for my bed and a clothes airer to dry some clothes and they were delivered to the room within a few minutes. The staff couldn't do enough for you. We can certainly recommend this hotel and Cosmos who we booked through but don't leave your booking too late as everything closes down in Lido de Jesolo for winter around the end of Sept.
