Swagman Narra Hotel, Angeles City

The service was pretty good. I ordered a meal or two from the room and beer. They came fairly quckily. The room was clean. and all though they advertize hot water the hot water there is barely warm. There was no bath tub but shower only. Overall it is a good place to stay even though I excepted a bit more for the price.

We liked the friendly staff but their advertisement was/still is very deceiving!!! We booked in 2 VIP Family Rooms for P 1,900 a night which I thought was very cheap, only to find out that the pictures they show on their website & the room rates do not match!!! we went to narra hotel/swagman resort hotel straight from the airport & were ushered in to old rooms! although they look dilapidated, they were clean and smelled of air freshener. We were shocked to know that our rooms belong to the OLD NARRA HOTEL and the room rates are for the old rooms BUT the PICTURES we've seen with same room rates were from the NEW SWAGMAN RESORT hotel ACROSS THE ROAD, the one with the pool!!! When we asked why they deceived us, the poor staff members couldn't explain WHY!!! So we asked if there were any vacant rooms at SWAGGY's across the road but we were told they were all occupied and they cost more, plus there are NO FAMILY ROOMS at Swagman Resort Hotel! We were stuck in that place for 2 nights!!! The only good thing was they have a tricycle service for free. Their food wasn't too bad but quite expensive!!! The drivers of the taxi & van we hired through the hotel were very polite & helpful.

hi it was my first time in the philippines and we stayed at the swag in manila for a couple of nights that wasnt to good but the swag in angeles was exelent. the rooms were great the staff were very friendly and the food was good to.if you need anything they will be more than happy to help *****

The Swagman hotel is on the wrong side of the MacArthur highway, and therefore a bit far - across the busiest road around - from the entertainment district, but it is closer to the casino. The hotel has a definite Aussie flavor, but I thought that was good. The food is fair at best, but there are plenty of good places to eat around. Overall, I would suggest another modestly priced hotel, but if the better ones are full, this is not a bad choice.

I just love everything about the place and have got to know so many people during my frequent stays there. I like the fact that it is just away from the main tourist area and you can trust the people who clean the rooms and that is so important. Remy who runs the hotel is so helpful and sweet.
