Pralong Hotel, Selva di Val Gardena

Family run hotel who take great pride in their establishment. Excellent service both in the restaurant and the bar area, and the son of the family speaks good English. The rooms are typical alpine with en-suite facilities. Some have balconies others have a mini Stube sitting area but all are comfortable and spotless. The food is really really good and the pasta is to die for - there is also a good wine list. There is no night life - this is a quiet hotel and they aim to keep it that way - if you want late night revelry this is not the place for you. The hotel is within 100m of one of the lifts (on the edge of the town) and one can ski back to within 75 yards. All in all highly recommended
