Checked in on the 25th left without even staying there 1 hour later. Nasty, holes in wall, roaches everywhere, no linens. Husband went to office to get sheets and when returning to van was accosted by a male trying to sell him drugs or women!!!This place was beyond a hole-in-wall...

I Stayed there during the week of december 27th I was not happy with the room. roachs were in the rooms and then i did not get any room service, No Toilet tissue, no Clean towels. This is 1 place i will never stay again.I Would not recommend thisplace to anyone...

We checked into Room 240 on 10/02/10 and was shocked of the condition of the room. We didn't even sleep in the room last night. We just left. We came to Masters Inn because of the affordable rates, but we didnt realize that we will have to sacrifice quality for price. The room was cleary under construction. The dry wall was incomplete. The desk drawer had no drawers and the other one desk drawer was missing. The refrigerator in the room was filthy. The overhead lights over the vanity mirror did not work. There was no water or water pressure in the room. I couldn't even wash my hands! The floor in the bathroom had no tiles! We had to put down towels to step on because the floor looked soo dirty. I couldnt call from the room to the front desk because the phone was not working and the furniture in the room is falling apart. There were no comment card left in the room and I don't blame them and none available at the front desk. The peephole on the door for 'safety' is practically covered wit paint so that defeated the purpose. We will not come back to masters inn to just save $10.00 when we can go somewhere much nicer and feel comfortable in the room. I worked in the hotel industry for years and know that that room was unacceptable. -very upset

we stayed here 1 night 10/31/07.iv been all over the US and never stayed in a place so filthy. holes in the wall's and the bath room was so filthy i didnt even want to use it.the water in the tub ran constantly and also in the toilet.we told the manager about it and his comment was "dont tell me what i need to fix" we will NEVER stay at another Masters anywhere! convenient location for food and some shopping. only a 10-15 min drive to Charleston. Very friendly, helpful staff. Had special request for lower level with Micro/fridge, no surprises on arrival, room was ready. Appeared to be lots of weekly renters, working in the local area. Very quiet at night, we left before the weekend, may get louder. Low budget, no thrills, but clean. We were combining family visit with seeing Charleston, ideal place.
