Legacy Vacation Resorts - Lake Buena Vista, Orlando

My girlfriend and I were not sure what to expect based on the reviews of others but we were pleasantly surprised by this resort. It was like being at home. The resort supplies coffee, detergent, pots and pans....just about everything you need to stay for a week or longer. I love the resort so much, including the time of year that we chose, that I am already ready to book again for the same time and place again next year. It was also nice because my girlfriend and I had a separate locations of the resort suite. She had two tv's on her side and I had two on my side. Because this was an exchange for my home resort, I took the full kitchen, master bedroom with jacuzzi tub side. She took the double bed side. It is what you call a "lockout" suite. The only thing we wish was there was a bar and exercise facility on-site, although we had so much to do we probably would not have used it that much. We went to Universal Studios and chose the 2-park unlimited pass for about $100. This allowed us unlimited access to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and City Walk. We don't have kids so this worked for us just fine. You can walk around with drinks in your hand. Also we were close to many shopping and restaurants. In just this area you will find Olive Garden, Fridays, Buffalo Wild Wings, McDonalds, Black Angus, etc. We went to a restaurant called Johnny's Hideaway. It was on the expensive side but has a nice outdoor bar and music. Say hi to Ron the outside bartender for us! Feel free to contact me if you have an questions.

Was not a advertised. We had 6 people in our party and was given a one bedroom with 2 double beds with king size quilts on them, a small combination kitchen, living room with a very small table that seated 2. There was one pull out couch, so there was seating for 5 people. We had to ask for fresh towels every day and sometimes had to go to the office in the evening to get them ourselves. There was a laundry room with 2 washers and dryers, with the resort using them to wash the pool towels. We saw 2 cockroaches. We complained about these issues and they were never resolved and we felt the employees didn't care. We would never recommend this resort to anyone.

well, i went there twice, its really nice...theers beutiful palm trees, friendly people, whole bunch of lizards(haha) it has a very "homey" feeling, it fels safe, and relaxed, theres i think 2 pools on one side of it, and then theers a huge indoor/outdoor pool on the other side of the street, all heated, and im pretty sure 2 without heat-the best time to go swimming is a night(not as much peopel) theers a bar theer too!!! i had lots a fun there, its an experience i'll never forget-its close to old-town, and all the mane attratctions-im planning on going there this march as well...you should go:)
