Shabby
By ,
The King Suite was shabby: furniture worn, hole in ceiling over jacuzzi, black lace panties left under baggage stand, carpet stained and threadbare. Would not pay price for these accomodations again. Desk staff not responsive to our concerns about the room

Needs Maintenance
By ,
Outside door into room "hall" would not lock electronically. I had to contact the front office (person on duty pretty non-responsive and unprofessional) and get them to finally lock the door manually for the night. Maintenance looks like it gets a low priority at this place. Also, I don't appreciate the smell of curry in the rooms (I do like curry in food, but not permeating the air in a motel). I would not stay here again. I'm disappointed that it is even an option in the Biltmore Estate pacakge deals.

Nasty!
By ,
Room was filthy, and had a foul smell. Bed,sheets, and pillows had stains all over. It was like a college fraternity surrounded my bed prior to my arrival and had a "Circle jerk". Had to sleep in my truck.

Homeless shelter would be nicer
By ,
Only stayed one night, No elevators only stairs,Hallways are 100 degrees. Rooms smell musty like there is mildew hiding behind the walls. Bed had stains on the sheets, and pillow cases. Bathroom had mildew in the shower and on the shower curtain. AC was very loud, window looking out was foggy. Breakfast area had nowhere to sit, people were either standing or eating outside on the ground.

Terrible service & Dirty rooms!
By ,
Stayed two nights, worst hotel I ever been to. Manager "Habib Patel" was rude and unhelpful, spoke broken english. Called twice for and extra pillow at 5pm after waiting for over an hour I went to the front desk to see what the problem was. He said that he couldent find anybody to bring me a pillow. So he goes into his office and brings me the pillow he had sitting on his desk chair! I witnessed this! and said you can have this one. I refused it due to the fact it had spicy curry chicken and jisum stains all over it. I also never recieved room service on Sat. morning. Maid only started making her rounds Sat. evening. She came to my door at 6pm to clean the room, by then I was in for the night. Dirty bathrooms, mildew on shower head and handle, maid hairs all over the towels and floor. Musty smell in room, Dresser drawers don't open(no knobs) bed lamp burnt out, loud AC, No where to sit for breakfast(100 guests for breskfast, 10 chairs) I was fooled by the Ramada website, do yourself a favor, stay in the cardboard box with the homeless guy on the corner rather then waste your money at this dump.

Adequate, but not great
By ,
We picked this hotel as part of a package deal and since we had never been to Asheville before, we did not want to spend a lot of money on a hotel. The hotel was adequate. The room was clean, the bedding was cheap, the air conditioner was loud, the pool area was very small, the continental breakfast was good, however both mornings it was difficult to find a place to sit. You get what you pay for. Next time we will pay more to be closer to the Biltmore and have a nicer room.

Not what we were expecting
By ,
Our experience in booking the hotel was great; along with the service upon checking in. The staff was very friendly and wanting to help us. But that's where the nice experience ended. The first room that we were in was the king bedroom suite. The bedroom and bathroom were both nice; but the living area was only okay. The utilities in the kitchen were old; and when we opened the cabinet under the sink, it was dark, dirty and musty. There was also bugs under there. At that point we asked if they had a non-smoking room in another part of the hotel. They moved us to the lobby building but gave us a room in the middle of the smoking floor (the room was non-smoking but was surronded by smoking). This room was even worse then the first. The carpet had stains and was worn/ripped. On settling into the room, we found a pile of dog poop in a corner behind a lamp/chair, used Shampoo/soap in the bathroom and a bug crawling on the shower curtin. When we were pulling down the sheets, we found not only crumbs but someone's pills in made into the bed. This was not a great experience for any of us and we wound up sleeping in our clothes for the night until we could switch to a new hotel. Oh - and the pictures that they show on the Yahoo! website are not what either of our rooms looked like.

Don't Go!
By ,
The outside appearance was unpleasant and not well lit. I was concerned for my safety. My room was very dirty, especially the bathroom. I was supposed to stay 13 nights. I left after 1.

No return
By ,
for what it costs per night (90.00) not worth it. Plain rooms nothing to rave about. A/c so loud it was hard to sleep at night. The room was clean so that is on the plus side. Wasn't really close to anything of interest. Two shopping plaza's within walking distance, but travel to go to a shopping plaza. On the plus side again, easy access to I40. If you had a room on the 1st or the 3rd floor, no ramps you had to walk and carry you suitcases either down or up.
