Courtyard by Marriott Saint Louis Creve Coeur, St. Louis

Very loud. Kids and dogs running the hall until 3 in the morning. No service at breakfast buffet first morning, finally left and went elsewhere. Second morning, clerk incredibly rude, again left and went elsewhere. Algae growing on the pool steps. Front desk staff on check-in acted like he was in a 5 star hotel, no personality. I would recommend driving 1/2 block up the road to the Drury - free breakfast, excellent staff. We were only staying here because we had tons of Mariott points we needed to use. Big mistake.

when we arrived it took apx 45 mins to check us in. We then asked if there was anything open 24 hrs around there to eat as we arrived around midnight on a friday night and were hungry. she said only 3 things up off dorset and we asked if there were any white castles around there anywhere she said nope not for a long drive. We then found out the next day there was a white castle at the same exit as the other places just the other way. Then we tried to us the internet and it didnt work in our hotel room. we would have to go in the parking lot or lobby to use the wireless. We called the tech support and they couldnt fix it and said they would call the hotel and have them send the matience person the next morning. They wouldnt have anyone on site to work on anything till tueday after we would already be gone. It takes them 45 mins to get you towels unless you have the maid service come in while your gone but im sorry i dont want them coming in my room while im not in there as i did have a laptop and other things in my room that they could have taken. If you do not arrive at a decent time (around 10 pm) to your hotel room you will have to park very far away and walk to a door and their parking lot is dark and doesnt feel safe. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. We will NOT stay here again. I will pay the extra money and stay at the Renassience by the air port. It is much nicer and better then this place.

Very convenient and nice. We keep coming back! If only all hotels were this price, location and service-everyone would travel more! We really like the central location. we could visit the city and museums, go shopping at a few malls! It is a cozy gem of a hotel!
