Comfort Inn Gold Coast, Ocean City

I loved the rooms nice and modern disliked the fact that there was not free breakfast. It did have a Denny's attached with cheap prices.

The room had a updated CLOSET and TV I will give them that ! Our first night the A/C BARELY worked and second night it didnt work at all,maintaince came took the cover off the unit,beat on the pipes and said the compressor was finished, but it works fine.Now I work in the same feild and if the compressor is finished it needs to be replaced and will not blow cold air(So much for being HONEST with your guests). The worst part was health issues for our children involving the pool and Hot tub,the indoor pool was the most DISCUSTING pool I have ever seen i my life, by the corner where the steps are there was about 5 lbs. of MUCUS/SNOT built up,Not sure why the pool attendent that was sitting at a table, would not have tried to clean the pool before allowing anyone in is beyond me ! the pool also had toilet paper ,leaves,trash etc.in it.the hot tub which after getting in with my family what i thought were bubbles turned out to be PAINT CHIPS floating in the water and when I got out to turn off the jets I saw about 3 inch long strips of paint still attached to the steps floating like flags blowing in the wind under the water. Everytime we walked past the front desk there was someone complaing about something.When we checked out the front lady had a snotty attitude and when I confronted her about she said she was having issues with her husband at home. Well if you are a customer service bussiness you you CAN NOT bring issues from home to your job. The way we feel now, we do not want to return to OCEAN CITY again for vacation.Last but not least this hotel was not worth $59.99 let alone the $200.00 a night we paid for the 3 nights we stayed.

The service was good. The Hotel staff was always very friendly and very helpful. Rooms were small. The hotel should remodel and knock down a few walls to make the rooms a little more roomier and update the decor (wallpaper in the bathroom was pealing off the wall). Overall this was an OK hotel. Would definitely stay there again. It was very convinient to shopping, pharmacy, mall, and restaurants. It only needs a little face lift. :)

My boyfriend and I went for Bike week, very nice hotel, even though it was packed, which every hotel is, the staff was very nice. The rooms were nice, and very clean. right next to denny's and a mall, with a very cool bar, restaurant, staff was great there as well. will def be back again

Have stayed here before and love the convenience of Denny's on site and the movies next door. Inexpensive night away in the winter and the pool is very warm on a cold day. The hot tub could have been cleaner, but the rest of the hotel was very clean. We were booked on a floor with a traveling sports team and the noise was horrific. When we asked at 9:30pm for a room change, it was readily granted. Think they should have moved the team though or situated them away from family booked rooms. Would stay here again despite this incidence.

Like: Refrigerator, Microwave, Wireless Internet. Dislike: no shower / locker room by swim pool.

I came to the Comfort Inn Gold Coast in May with a few friends, and we loved it. Not only was the price very decent, but the people working there were so sweet. We originally wanted to stay on the beach, but the price difference was outrageous, so we thought we were settling for a non-ocean front hotel. But when we arrived, we were surprised at how nice the hotel was. We had a great time and will be coming back soon!!!
