Super 8 Motel, Orlando

The first assigned room assigned was on a section that looked was being remodeled, the wallpaper and acoustic ceilings were removed.The non smoking room smelled like someone smoked in it. Carpet had stains, there was a hair of unknown nature on both beds. I requested the sheets be changed and was advised there was no housekeeping staff. I was offered a set of clean sheets I would need to change myself. There were other issues with the room. I think overall it was not clean. My sister stayed on the same floor but a different section. The rooms with king size beds looked cleaner and that hallway looked "normal." I requested another room near my sister's, no problems there. We were "happier" with the new room. It almost looked like a normal motel room, except for the leaky sink faucet. I also advised the front desk clerk they should put a sign advising of the remodeling and apologizing for it. When went out to eat we noticed a tax lien notice on the front door, we had not seen it before. The notice was posted Sept, 13th and they have until Sept. 30th to pay the about $8,000 in property taxes they owe. It seems this motel is under great financial stress. I can only guess the upkeep might get worse. At 1 AM we got a call to our room from a man asking what was the hotels address (????????????????) It was spooky to me. We stayed for only 1 night but if we had to stay longer we would have gone somewhere else. I cannot recommend it at this point.

This hotel is right by a truck hub or something..all you hear all night are trucks..I am hard of hearing and it kept me all night..guy at the front desk was nice..breakfast was pretty minimal..wouldn't recommend it.

I liked that this hotel was easy to find and was extremely cheap. But, I did not like that the walls were so thin that I could hear every car that drove by and every footstep the person upstairs was taking. The pillows smelled, so I went to the local k-mart--lock your car doors--to buy my own pillows and blanket. the carpet was moist and the shower was falling apart. I wish I had paid to stay somewhere else. I will never stay at a super 8 again.

room was clean but in disrepair (stained shower curtain,caulk coming out around shower,water stains in ceiling. Every vending machine was out of order. When we traveled outside the hotel we were certain to lock the car doors and many suspicious looking people wandering outside in the streets. Wouldn't stay there again ever. Would pay more to stay closer to the airport

Don't respect coupon price reduction ... Always an argument to not give the price indicated on the coupon paper; here it was a new management that don't want coupons, even it's written...

This hotel was good in all aspects. A nice place to enjoy. Good service was given by the hotel staff, would like to visit this place again along with my family and friends.

None of the people working there knew what they were doing. I didn't get the room that I reserved and one of the housekeepers made a racist remark about an Indian family (Hindu?) about them being cheap. I was very disappointed, but I couldn't afford to go anywhere else so you get what you pay for.

It is a bargin compared to many other places, but it is only a place to sleep, and that's about it. Easy to find. There are many things that I could complain about, but it was cheap, and you get what you pay for.

Worked well for a short stay. Room was small but adequate. Convenient to freeways and mall. Breakfast had good variety and fresh. Great value for minimal price. Would stay here again for short stays.
