perfect honeymoon
By k, 10/3/12
A five star, two thumbs up place to stay. The room (Eisenhower suite) was gorgeous, roomy, and had a great balcony. The entire staff, from the owner, kitchen folks and housekeepers was extraordinarily nice, and friendly. My wife and I are both blue collar working people, yet we were treated like royalty. Nice to wake up early, and see that everyone working here had a sense of humor, and went way out of their way to accommodate a couple on their honeymoon. I did my research to find the perfect place, and this was it. No regrets picking the President’s Quarters for my honeymoon. It is centrally located in the historic district of Old Town Savannah- parked the car and left it for a week. Everything one would want to do in this city is easily within walking distance. We are already planning an anniversary trip returning here. Pam and Keith

This bed and breakfast is a jewel in Savannah
By Nancy, 9/30/12
From the moment we walked in the courtyard, we were greeted by a warm and friendly staff that made us at home immediately. We stayed in the James Monroe room and were awed when we opened the door to our room. Thirteen-foot ceilings with warm yellow walls, beautifully decorated and good size bathroom. Very elegant and inviting. Sherry is served in the afternoon in an inviting garden area or sitting room. Great attention to detail here. Fruit cup with fresh fruit served at room temperature brought out the delicious flavor. Homemade granola was the best. Challah french toast was outstanding. Coffee and tea offered before breakfast for guests is a special touch.

Will definitely return....too much to see!!
By nursemolly, 7/5/12
This B&B is gorgeous and is located within walking distance to all the historic sites, Forsythe Park, city market and River Street. The staff is fabulous and very informed. We arrived just in time for cocktail hour with light appetizers. We stayed on the ground floor in the Johnson Suite rm 103 which was very spacious with a large private bath. Each morning you can dine al fresco or inside in the sitting area and enjoy a made to order chefs choice specialty (which changed daily) or opt for the lighter fruit and oatmeal. Will plan our next trip in Spring or Fall. July is hot in Savannah but we still had an excellet time.

Will stay here for all future trips to Savannah
By Michael, 7/3/12
We loved the room (103), the Johnson Room. We arrived and were immediately greeted and treated like we have been there before. The room was large and had it's own AC which was a huge bonus because Savannah was brutally hot. The staff left out some wine and snacks for us to have before we went to dinner. When we returned from dinner our bed was turned down and ready for sleeping. Additionally, we had some sweets on our pillow and some port was available in the lobby. Every morning you have a choice of a hot breakfast or continental. The breakfasts were good, and even though we've had better food at other places it was easily comparable to having breakfast out at a restaurant. You cannot beat the location at this inn. We parked our car and did all of our Savannah sightseeing by foot. The staff recommended some great places to eat as well. Moreover, the staff asked our interests and gave us so many options that we could not do all of them in one trip. The inn is a bit more expensive but the location, comfort, and level of quality make everything worth it. You may not want to sleep on the bottom floor if you are noise sensitive as you can hear cars and people if they are being loud. The flip side to this is you can also hear all the horses and carriages as they give tours. It was cool.

EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS
By Connie, 4/5/12
My husband and I recommend President's Quarters Inn without hesitation. We just returned from a wonderful anniversary trip to Savannah, and a major highlight of our experience was our stay at President's Quarters. Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean and restful. Breakfast was delicious and served in a lovely courtyard. There's nothing like starting your day with Eggs Benedict or Bananas Foster French Toast, now is there? The staff went out of their way to be helpful by making suggestions and reservations for us and even by providing cold drinks and cookies when we were tired from walking/sightseeing. They were friendly and courteous. The Inn has a perfect location. We parked our car when we arrived and didn't get in it again until we checked out, because so many fine restaurants, historic buildings, and shops were within easy walking distance. We also thoroughly enjoyed chatting with the other guests. The high-speed internet and the turn-down service (with delicious treats) were great amenities. It is rare when a place EXCEEDS expectations, but for us, the President's Quarters Inn and its competent, knowledgeable, friendly staff did so.

Wonderful!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/21/11
Beautiful inn with charming staff. The location is excellent, a short walk to all the sites and they have their own parking lot! Yea! We stayed in the Richard Nixon, on the first floor and it was lovely. Breakfast was excellent-well prepared and presented, and we loved the wine and hors d'oeuvres in the late afternoon. This is the only inn we will stay in when we return yearly to Savannah!

oh yes!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/1/10
The Presidents Quarters Inn was amazing. From the time we walked through the doors and say hello to the inn keeper and staff to the time we walked out the doors, to say good bye to the inn keeper and staff we were totally trilled. We were in Savannah for a wedding and everyone in the wedding party wised they had stayed at The Presidnets Quarters Inn. The room was spacious and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and we had turn down service every night with chocolate or pralines on our pillows....wow they were good! The breakfast was exellent and they even cooked a special breakfast for a person in our party that require a different menu. The southern hospitality that you would expect is shining at the Presidents Quarters Inn. Please, if your going to be in Savannah, stay here.....you will not be disappointed. bgiag

Wonderful local/beautifully remodeled Inn.....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/27/10
Loved everything..... The current management has been in place over three years now and have done amazing things with the property!! They have 16 rooms not 19 as the current owner did not purchase the row house next to the Inn or the property/rooms above the 1790 Inn. There is not a pool or hot tub on the property, has not been for about 10 years or so. They offer a full plated breakfast option as well as the option of their homemade granola with fruit and bread of the day as well as coffee, hot tea, and juices served in the courtyard garden and breakfast room starting at 8am. Very centrally located to everything and staff is available to assist with tours and reservations as well as recommendations for things to see and do throughout the historic district and the whole of Savannah. Rooms are very spacious and bathrooms have tile floors and granite counter tops with tub and shower in them.

Exemplary Inn!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/10/08
We stayed at this Inn for our anniversary and it is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are all newly renovated, fresh, clean and the bathrooms are newly tiled with granite countertops and lighting is great! The appetizers and breakfast are very tasty and plentiful. The staff are well informed about the sites and what restaurants to visit. We liked Vic's on the River the food was excellent. The staff directed us to all the right places. The Innkeeper is very hands on and was very helpful with suggestions and made herself available to us during our stay. We were so sad to leave but are already looking for a reason to go back. I guess the south is where to go to get true hospitality and service!!

Excellent Bed and Breakfast!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/24/08
The Presidents'Quarters was a real find for my mother and me. We wanted to get away from the cold of the Northeast and spend a few days exploring Charleston and Savannah. I will have to say I greatly prefer Savannah and the Presidents'Quarters is a large part of the reason. First, the staff is simply amazing. From the moment we arrived until we left, they were so helpful and accomodating; making dinner reservations and great suggestions for sightseeing, shopping etc. Our room was a lofted suite with a living room area and had just been redecorated. The style is classy and very comfortable. The Inn is undergoing renovations and we were there as new carpet was being installed in the hallways. It was so beautiful and the workman did not compromise our stay at all. The renovations are scheduled to be completed in early March, and I would recommend you stay there if you are planning a trip to Savannah. The location is wonderful, the staff amazing and the Inn just beautiful.
