Loved this hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/17/10
We stayed here in May and found the hotel to be exactly as the brochure had described. The views were amazing, the staff incredible (especially Miss Montana :-) ). I would highly recommend staying there to anyone and cannot wait to go back.

By Mary, 6/18/10
We stayed in this hotel a few days this month. We had a great room with a wonderful sunset. Probbly the nicest room we've ever had. Staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. We would definitely stay here again.

We are so glad we choose to stay here !!
By Eric W, 5/7/09
We stayed at this Hyatt for 2 nights ( celebrating a birthday in Key West) and really enjoyed the hotel. Yes, the hotel was very clean, the location is only a short walk to all the action at Mallory square & Duvall St etc, etc.--- but what really made our stay so special was the friendliness and caring of the front desk employees. When I requested a King room with a very good view, our "Guest Experience Host", Sevinc Agbaba, put us in a king room with the most spectacular 180 view of the gulf !! WOW !! In addition, a bottle of champagne & chocolate covered strawberries were delivered to our room for the birthday celebration. We were treated like royalty!!! Thank you again Sevinc !! You helped so much in making this birthday such a memorable one !!!! PS We had a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Again, what a view !!!

Beautiful and relaxing
By JamesG, 10/8/08
This was a perfect getaway for us during the Christmas holiday. The hotel was in a perfect location in relation to the main drag (a little away from it which was fine by us).

Southpoint Divers at the Hyatt. Great Dive!
By diverdown, 7/23/08
We stayed at the hyatt last month for our Honeymoon and the hotel was gorgeous. Were divers as well and it was so convenient to walk out our hotel room and see the dive boat. We did the double reef in the afternoon and saw sharks, turtles, tarpon and dolphins on the way back in. Great boat. Great crew! And the shop is right across the street.

Well worth your money!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/23/08
We loved the resort! It was top-notch! The location was great, you are close to Duval street and the marina but still you are away from the mayhem and you see the sunset from the grounds or certain rooms.Room selection for sunset is bldg.#3 4th floor front only. The service was unbeatable they could not do enough. Our room was a good size and the bathroom was wonderful. I could see the boat traffic form by bed, nice! The gym was great small but funtional. Last the concierge was very informatable about where to eat right on the money each time.

Awesome Hotel!
By Missy, 4/12/08
We stayed 4 nights here for our 25th anniversary. I am so glad I chose this hotel. The location is the best, you can walk to pretty much EVERYTHING. The restaurant at the hotel is very good, we had breakfast there 2 times. Our room was super nice, newly remodeled, the bathroom is probably the nicest I have seen in a hotel, and we travel alot. The staff at the hotel was always very accomodating. They even left a bottle of wine and strawberries and chocolates for our 25 anniversary!

Worth the Money
By rt.15, 3/16/08
Upon arrival we received an upgraded room to partial ocean view! Sweet! Rooms looked exactly like the website photos and was very, very clean with all the bells and whistles. Staff helpful and friendly. The shower was amazing !!! Nicola restaurant is one of the best on the island and the gems of seafood are truly right by the resort (stay off of Duval if you want good food). Every meal @ Nicola was terrific. The Blue Mojito bar at the resort is so much fun. Odie the macaw is a treat to watch and the view is breathtaking.

Nice hotel, great location.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/21/07
nice hotel, tiny beach facing north - no sun. pricelined it and got a great rate (about $150 a night). best thing about it was the location - halfway between Mallory and the marina, near the north end of Duvall. everything is within walking distance. recently stayed at the Westin which blew it away.

beautiful resort-no personality
By FourSeasons, 11/7/07
It was amazing to us that such a beautiful property had such indifferent customer service. with a couple exceptions the staff was pretty much going through the motions. A real shame, since the hotel is situated in an ideal location, walking distance to everything. our room was 1st class, and security was good. the bar was a big disappointment: Never any music or fun activities going on/ closed early every night. We didnt eat at the restaurant-there were plenty of places to eat on and around Duval st. that were alive and vibrant; a real contrast to the stoic atmosphere at the resort. In summary: a beautiful resort in need of an infusion of personality and fun!!
