Jackson's Hotel, Ballybofey

Paid 140 for a double room which they advertise as being furnished and decorated to the highest standards! Maybe in 1970 but I seriously doubt it even then. The furniture is "student flat cheap" style, the room was dead tiny and the carpet looked horrible (ie really old and probably not all that clean).
The bins hadn't been emptied since the last people had checked out as there was rubbish in them when we arrived.
The service in general was very good and they were very friendly. Ballybofey was a nice place to stay, too but friends stayed in local B&Bs and had far better accomodation, and paid a whole lot less.
