We won't go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/9/09
The carpet was so old and dirty. I would wake up the next morning with my eyes swollen and so stopped up I coulld not breath. I don't know if it was the carpet or maybe an aminal had stayed there in the same room. The furniture was just as old as the carpet so we feel the price was just too high. We paid $ 76 a night. They need new carpet badly and my husband said he slept on springs poking him all night.

What you see on the internet is not what you get!
By j, 6/23/08
The hotel looks very nice online as does it when you approach the building. The lobby is very appealing and the location is excellent. However, upon check in things started to change. The person behind the counter acted inconvienced by our arrival and directed us to "use the stairs at the far end of the building" when we asked if an elevator was available. The rooms are more suited for business travelers than they are for families. However, the "business center" consited of a single computer. There was no table, but a work station in the room. The comforters were stained and the bed as so worn that I felt like I had to hold on all night. The room was hot and took 12 hours to reach a semi-comfortable temperature on the coolest AC setting. Sleeping was nearly impossible with all of the shouting and banging in the halls that continued until after 3:00am! The pool was in a dark room with one door opening to a large mud puddle. Outiside (not accessiable from the pool area) was the "patio" area that was a mixture of astroturf and cement without a single place to sit. There were no guides or menus in the rooms that provided information on places to eat or the town in general. Although the hotel lists several adjacent places to eat, many were entirely across town. The bathroom floor was tacky! The toilet was flush against the vanity and the tub close to the other side. The bathroom was so cramped a person sitting on the toliet could reach both the sink and tub faucets at the same time. On the upside, the breakfast was very good for a hotel breakfast. We also found an elevator after dragging our luggage up the stairs. There are likely much better places to stay in the area. For half the price this hotel would not be a good value.

Wonderful!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/24/05
My husband and I spent our wedding night in one of the jacuzzi suites. We were very happy with the suite and all of the amenities. We can't wait to come back.

Poor planning of restroom facilities!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/14/05
We were recently there for a wedding reception and while the hotel was clean and the service was slightly poor, I had nowhere to change my toddler when she needed it. I was suprised to see in such a nice place that there were no diaper stations in the womens bathroom. Therefore, I had to lay my child on the cold floor to change her. My father was watching her while we ate dinner and she need a diaper changing, he took her into the mens restroom and there were no stations in there either. The food was superb but our server for the evening was rude. She tossed the plates onto the table. While my father was watching my daughter she repeatedly touched the plate of his and had to be told over 5 times to not touch the food on the plate, when asking for more dinner rolls because he had none she said we already had our share for the evening which was 5 rolls for 8 people.
