EMILIANO, Sao Paulo

I have been going to Brazil on business for more than 25 years, and can say that I have probably stayed in every one of the top hotels in both Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. The Emiliano is absolutely the best I have ever stayed in in Brazil, and probably the best hotel I have stayed in anywhere in the world. The service is impeccable, the hotel is small and elegant, the bar and restaurant are very good. The regular size room is large and comfortable and I could live in the 1-bedroom suite forever. The location is also excellent, right in the middle of the best neighborhood in Sao Paulo, steps away from wonderful shopping and top restaurants, like The Figueira Rubaiyatt, Rodeio e Gero. There's a great cafe right across the street, Santo Grao.
