Lovely Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/08/06
We loved our stay at the Santa Ynez Inn! The staff bent over backwards to accomodate us. For example, we arrived at the hotel about 3 hours early. No problem----they didn't hestitate to check us in to our room. Also, they arranged for a wine tour for us (which was fabulous). Our room was charming. It included a balcony and a fireplace and (best of all) a giant bathroom. Our room rate included breakfast every morning. We were expecting coffee and danishes (maybe some fruit) but were more than pleasently surprised at the delicious hot breakfasts that they made us. Also included were appetizers and wine at 5pm and desserts at 9pm. Everything was wonderful. As a side note, there are awesome restaurants within walking distance to the Santa Ynez Inn. Grappollo, an Italian Restaurant, is a particular stand out and shouldn't be missed. All in all, loved it and will definetly be back!

Charming & Quaint
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/08/05
Our room was absolutely charming! Decorated with comfortable yet quality furniture including the linen, the ambiance was one of comfort yet luxury. The staff at the Inn were friendly and professional; they ensured our stay was as pleasant as possible. The bathroom was appointed luxuriously; and that was the best part! The only disappointing aspect of this lovely Inn is its location. Although located in the charming Santa Ynez Valley, it does not afford any view as it's located on a street with no discernable view of the fabolous region, which is Santa Ynez. Nevertheless, our stay was memorable. I definitely recommend this charming Inn.

Service Stinks!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/06/05
We went to Santa Ynez to spend a weekend away from LA. We were so excitied, yet when we arrived ath the Santa Ynez Inn, we we greeted by rude service. Our room was not ready, when it was suppose to be, and we had to wait an additional 3 hours! Then when we finally got our room, it was not cleaned! There was some sticky on our comforter. When we called to complain, they didn't have anymore. The service got worse from then on. We do not recommend this hotel at all.
