La Quinta Inn San Antonio I-10 East, San Antonio

The I-10 location after a long haul looked great- however, the 59 dollar rate- meant we got a room with two double beds- an immaculately clean room, mini fridge, microwave and high speed internet. The a/c fan only setting ran but was too warm the low a/c setting was cooler bit shut off leaving the road noise- HUGE! infiltrating the room. Same with the high speed a/c setting- so high efficient a/c means you head road noise- NOT good- Iheard the folks next room over snoring-/coughing- NOT good The door slamming episode after 11.30 PM was the final straw- no one at the front desk had told these bozos to be quiet the bozos should be taken out and shot- but then in the morning- door slamming started again at 6.30 so my sleep was totally disturbed and I cannot recommend a hotel where you pay to sleep- and yet, cannot. this is the new Foster road exit- 583 off Interstate 10 heading West from Houston. TOo new ( Oct 05 ) to be listed in AAA book The breakfast in the morning had no juice which is only part I look forward to most at the high calorie snakey- cake breakfast/waffle extravaganzas put on by chain hotels these days!
