Nice hotel, but flawed...

The hotel has a lot of nice amenities, most notably the free high speed internet access and remote printing from your guest room. But, the location isn't convenient for walking to a nearby...anything.
Also, they have a courtesy shuttle that can take you to Newark airport or the Staten Island Ferry...only. LaGuardia and JFK flyers are SOL--though LaGuardia does have a Newark Shuttle, so, LaGuardia passengers have a resonable option outside of paying $100 for a cab ride. Oh, and the bald driver drives like a mad man...but...he gets you there fast.
What sparked me to write this review though is the lack of a free breakfast. WHAT? They do that? $8.95 for a bagel, or pastry...no fruit. And you have to walk 2+ miles for anything else.
There are renovations going on, slated for completion by 2006, so, this should be a nicer location then. It looks bad now, with the construction going on.
