Hilltop Inn And Suites, North Stonington

it's a convenient location to mohegan sun casino and decent pricing on weekends...if you really don't want to spend more than 150bucks a night, hilltop is just for you... wished it was a little less cheaper, but on weekends, i guess that's just asking for too much..lol

HillTop Inn and Suites is a great place to stay if you're planning a day-night getaway to Foxwoods casino. Its very close, with a shuttle that leaves about ever hour. My room was very clean, and we have no complaints about anything. We had a Non-smoking room and it was wonderful, no air quality issues here. The staff is very very friendly, and we're happy to have us. The shuttle driver was very accomidating. My boyfriend and I wanted to go home a bit early from Foxwoods, so we called the shuttle and he came and picked us up right away! The staff is knowledgable, friendly and very conversational. The room was very well kept and clean, my only qualm was that I had to pay for my wireless Internet. Other than that everything was awesome. Great breakfast!

Location was great (very near Foxwoods). Very nice rooms and VERY friendly service. Front desk and breakfast crew charming. Glad I have a way to recommend this to other people.

We stayed here recently for 2 nights. It was convienant if you wanted to go to the casino or Lake of the Isles. We had an end room - Room 102 and I have to say, we had a lot of bugs. I think we saw 7 bugs within two days. If you are going to stay here get a room on the 2nd floor. This motel is in the middle of the woods so I can understand the bug-factor. It didn't ruin my trip by any means, it was just something to watch out for.

The Hilltop was extremely clean and is very convenient to Foxwoods. If you like waffles and donuts, you'll like the breakfast. We were awakened at 5:30 a.m. by a group of intoxicated guys hanging around outside the room. It didn't last long but it woke us up. If you can stay at the casino w/ the bargain rate, you would be better off. This is the best alternative in the immediate area.

Room was neat and bed was very comfortable. However, there was no extra pillow, or iron/ironing board and only one small ashtray in the smoking room. My suggestion either bigger ashtray or more than one small one, also, guest booklet had only 3 pages of the same offers for the spa. Would've been helpful to have a map of the facilites, i.e. location of vending/ice and of other amentities.

It was pretty clean. I asked for additional pillows and they seemed put out. No one smiles.

We discovered the Hilltop Inn when the Resort was booked. It was a wonderful find. The rooms are spacious and clean. Lovely colors. The jacuzzi suites are a wonderful way to relax after a fun day at the casinos. Who can ever complain about in room coffee service! There is a spa available that is very reasonably priced. The staff is always kind and curteous and responded to our needs in a timely fashion. We have made it "our" place when we travel to this area of Connecticut.

This was the best value I have had for the price. The rooms were large and very clean. The breakfast and get togethers on the weekend were great and exceeded my expectations. But the complimentary limo ride on the weekend to Foxwoods was exceptional and made me and my husband feel special. Don't pass this place up on the more expensive hotels. Sincerely, Maria
