Even locals like us love it!

We highly recommend the Wingate in Allentown. We refer our guests from out of town and have even stayed there ourselves while having floors refinished at our home 3 miles away. It was also fun to book for a bunch of 10 year olds to have a sleepover in the room. We had cake and pizza in a conference room, they watched movies, swam in the pool and had a great breakfast before their parents picked them all up. It is clean and fresh. The staff is courteous and very accomodating. I'm a Four Seasons kind of girl, and while this is certainly not the Four Seasons, I have been impressed.
 
 
 
 
 
Great hotel - close to Dorney Park

We just came back from an overnight stay and would definitely go back again. Located a couple of traffic lights away from Dorney Park. You can buy discount Dorney Park tickets at the check-in desk. Has an indoor pool, hot tub and small exercise room. Rooms nice. Refrigerator and microwave in room. Staff friendly. Recommended places for dinner and gave us directions.

Family of Six stay 6-20-08/6-21-08

I Just Loved this place!!! Breakfast was excellent and included with stay, Nice swimming pool area. My kids enjoyed it alot. Microwave and refigerator worked well and the beds were very comfortable. The Crib and xtra rollaway bed came easy and quickly. We loved the shower too. Also, We got to go to Dorney Park with the discounted Tickets we purchased adult tickets at the hotel with a savings of $10 less then Dorney park's admissions price tickets. Tickets were even cheaper than AAA's price.

Nice place

Very nice, Close to Dorney. Pool was clean. Breakfast is GREAT, a nice worker is on call all morning keeping the breakfast area clean and stocked. Bagels, toast, eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, juices, coffe tea, muffins and make your own waffles. Only downside was an immediate clog of the toilet, I called the front desk, a few moments later the hotel person knocked at the door, just handed me a pluger in a bag and walked away. I thought maybe a maintenance person would offer??? oh well. We would go back in the future.

Great for business travel

I truly enjoyed my stay. The room was very clean and made up perfectly everyday. The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful. The room had high ceilings and a big bathroom with a jacuzzi too. The only thing was that I could easily hear the people on the floor above me. So, if you go, just stay on the highest floor if possible. Would definitely stay here and recommend it as well. Great breakfast and huge indoor pool.

Great Place to stay!!!!

The staff was the most pleasant I have ever experienced. Rooms were clean and bright. Great breakfast. Upon our checkout we even received an appreciation card from the sales manager. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!!
