Cobalt Coast Dive Resort, Grand Cayman

I stayed in one of the cottages, it was very clean and quiet. The food was very good, but the dining times were somewhat off for me. The resort is really geared to diviers and so I had the pool to myself everyday. The bar was always closed when we returned from exploring the island. It was off the beaten path, but the 10 minute walk to the bus stop wasn't bad however they run seemingly random and stop early, not at 10 or 11 like the travel mags say, therefore walking back 10 minutes in the dark is not a good idea. We had a taxi driver Andi, at Andys Native taxi and she gave us a speacial deal to bring us back each night. If you are a diver or enjoy having a resort to yourself I highly recommend this place. If I went back I would probably stay on the east end at the Reef or Morritts for the party like atmosphere, unless I get brave enought to dive.

Arie and the staff do a great job of making sure you are taken care of. We were there for diving 1st / vacation stuff 2nd / so we loved the location. It's a little off the beaten path. We did go into Georgetown while the cruise ships were in. Long lines and limited parking. Quite a few of the shops in G-Town cater to the cruise ships and are not open when there are no cruisers in port. Overall Cobalt Coast and Divetech were excellent and would definately go back.
