Knights Inn & Suites Rio Grande Valley, Pharr

Really enjoyed our stay at this Knights Inn & Suites. The Room was big and clean. The room Includes, Soft bed with pillows clean bed sheet, TV, VCR Video-game, Microwave, Refrigerator, Coffee/tea maker. The bathroom was spotless with toiletries, bathtub, handheld shower and good water pressure. The pool was nice very cozy. The hotel is easy accessible to Shopping malls and Shops. .. Over all I give this Knights Inn & Suites A+, it is by far the nicest I have ever stayed in.

Best Deal in town, I was looking very economical price due to recession just killed my business but im not used to stay at crappy hotels either so I found this Gem which is great Hotel for price with all three star ameneties. Loved staying here. I will recommend every body to stay at other hotel if Knights Inn and suites dont have rooms available

i have stayed here 3 times now have always had a wonderful stay very nice staff helpful and friendly great value very pleased would recomend to family friends anyone i have been staying in hotel for a very long time this is a real nice place will be back

We stayed here for 2 nights. I have to say it is one of the worst hotels I have ever seen in my life. The manager, he may be the owner I'm not sure, was disrespectful to us as soon as we arrived to the hotel. The smell of smoke in our room was unbearable. The breakfast was a waste of time, the options are very limited. Everything was horrible. STAY AWAY!!

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!! Terrible management, so many things wrong with our 5 night stay.....sofa bed frame was collapsed, couldn't use it even though we are a family of five, sink leaking bad, tub was always backed up, toilet seat fell off, remotes for tv did not work, hot breakfast yeah right, only had hot breakfast once during our stay. When we complained to the manager all we got were excuse after excuse, no solutions. Finally after 3rd day we switched rooms, the sofa was no better and the air conditioner was so loud that we could barely use it. When we asked for some kind of compensation the manager said only the owner can approve that and he was out of town and could not be reached, but his wife was standing right there!!! You mean she has no authority to issue a credit of sometime? Oh and when I mentioned about the breakfast the manager went on to say that the cook needed a day off cause she worked 30 days in a row and plus it was a slow day. Well this was New Years Eve and there was about 15 people in the breakfast room, ok then you better fricken hire a part timer to fill in!!!! I reported this owner/hotel to Wyndam. A family member had mentioned that this hotel used to be Country Hearth and Inn and she thought that it got too many complaints so they dumped him and now he is a Knights Inn and Suites, just BEWARE!!!!

Did a review in 2006 and told everyone this hotel was great BUT had just come under new management. Been spiriling south ever since. The place is mediocre at best. The pool is dirty almost puked when I went down there with my son. They'll do anything for a buck except provide service. Breakfast is a joke go buy your own at a Valero. The rooms are clean but the service is again minimal. If all you want to do is get a quick nights sleep for $75 this is the place for you. I'm hunting a new location to bring my family for the weekend excursions we enjoy.

Fraudulent rates. We made a reservation for at a great rate for two weeks in February. We didn't receive a confirmation so we called. No they had no record of the reservation. When we made another one at a much higher rate they changed the amount owed after I had confirmed and given them my credit card. I canceled and then found this was a common practice with the management of the hotel. I wrote a letter to the better buisness bureau.

Made reservation 1 month in advance through travel agent. Desk clerk said we had no reservation even though we had a confirmation number. After a half hour of stumbling around, the clerk found us a room. Could constantly smell Marijuana in the elevator and hallway. My wife saw a college age kid trying the doors in a hallway. Reported it to the clerk and told him about the Pot smell and shady characters hanging out front of the bldg and he said, "they are college kids, sorry" and did nothing! The continental breakfast was completely cleaned out by 8am every morning, literally had 1 piece of toast and 1 bagel left, and very little for cereal. Our room wasn't cleaned one night and again went to a different desk clerk who said sometimes the maids get confused by the door signs...........again did nothing, but gave us a couple of towels. I spoke with the manager at checkout and she apologized but said she could do nothing for us. Don't stay there!!!!!!!!

I loved staying at this place I got upgraded for free and they even had cookies every evening that was a plus something that I didn't even know they had.

We enjoy the rooms, it makes you feel that you are at home and not in a Hotel Room. Owners very friendly and they will make your stay a very enjoyable event. Staff very well trained and always there to assist you. Breakfast always grand.
