I've told all my friends to stay with Aspen

It was home away from home. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Parker. The shuttle was a great help from the airport to the hotel and back. The waffles we make ourselves in the mornings is a nice way to start our day. The in house laundry is very convenient. The rooms are very nice and the price is moderate. Nice hotel and fair price

Free shuttle to railroad depot and airport. Nice breakfast. You can make your own waffle. Free internet access in lobby. Limited 30 minutes per person. You may use longer if no one is waiting.

Great Hotel, Friendly Staff!!

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel in Feb. 2005, and I have to say, it was an enjoyable experience. The staff was courteous to all my needs, and made me feel right at home! The continental breakfast was pretty good as well! They have belgian waffles and bagels that are pretty good! The hotel was clean, newer, and under good management it seemed. The hotel was situated on the west end of town I believe, and not too far from area attractions. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here!

Thanksgiving stay

If you can stop this please do. I did it on the wrong hotel. It should have been done on the Captian Bartlet. Price was great. Rooms small but reasonable. Had the look of a well used interior. The staff were very helpful and willing to do whatever it took to make our stay as good as possible (staff A+). Offered us the use of a staff room on Thanksgiving day so we could have our college student son and his friends over for the day with some privacy. The dinning room and bar are filled with Alaskana items. Food was better than average. If you are looking for an Alaska motel this is it. If you want "down south" class move on and good luck. Aspen Hotel, Fairbanks, AK

This is a very nice little hotel well suited to the business traveller. It is new, clean and fairly inexpensive for the area. Free internet access in the business center and modem access in the rooms. Pool and jacuzzi are nice. Well located near the airport with free airport transportation.
