Marsh Harbour Inn, Bald Head Island

Bought 2 days at the Inn from social living as a surprise for my wife. Scheduling a date with the Inn was next to impossible. Then I had to reschedule due to a new job start and now they are saying that we can not rebook because our coupon has expired. Nothing like getting screwed out of $300+ bucks!!

Loved the accomidations. Staff was excellent. Service was excellent

We recently stayed at the Marsh Harbour inn while attending a friend's wedding. We got the special wedding rate of $236 a night. Let me tell you that I have stayed at 4 and 5 star hotels for not much more than this and this was certainly not a 4 or a 5 star - more like a negative 5! The rooms were tired and in need of refurbishing - the bathroom was filthy and the toilet ran constantly. The hot water knob in the shower would not turn off unless you held the base with one hand and cranked it around and around!!! Don't go! You will be sorry. They need to clean up their act. Cleanliness in next to godliness and this place was certainly far from that!!!
