Medallion Hotel, Arlington

Hotel okay enough, but the 'spa' within the hotel is HORRIBLE! Painful torture. If you need massage or esthetic services run quickly somewhere wlse. The hotel should find new managers for its Spa.

We had approx. 10 people in our group and was not allowed to socialize in the lobby, or any where in public. The group was a mix of children and adults, so its not like we were allowed to go in the bar. We were also not allowed to eat in the lobby or rather the dining area of the hotel.We were also not allowed to move the tables so we could sit together, which we would of put everything back. The lady, we will call her Debrah, treated us like we were trash. I would not recommend this hotel for any large groups, Especially for a host hotel for any large events.

I had to stay in a hotel (I hate hotels) due to a natural disaster and the Hawthorn Inn still had power when most places did not--and they had WIFI the entire time! I didn't realize they had a restaurant and lounge but they do and the crew there was awesome! The food was really good, like being in a downtown hotel, and the bartender and servers were all very nice and made my stay fun. I've already told my friends who travel in the area (Mt. Vernon, Everett, Marysville, Arlington, Edmonds and N.Seattle, Washington) about it(plus, they don't have to stay with me anymore!) and the lounge is truly a great place for the atmosphere. The crew there seems a little inexperienced but they truly want to make your experience fun and woth your while. I met two bartenders and two servers. -Darlene, Bartender, keeps you "interested" in staying because she keeps you talking -Mika, Bartender, keeps trying new drinks on you (and there good!) -Amanda, Server, knew all about wines for my dinner -Melissa, Server, was truly wild as far as servers go...she made me laugh the whole time! Overall, I had a great time for having to deal with such a bad situation with the weather and all...You should try it whether you stay in the hotel or not the restaurant (called THE CELLAR) is worth the visit!

Great location, very nice people, the room was great, and we don't stay any where else when we visit Arlington, Wa. We come to Arlington to visit family, and we feal like family at the Hotel as well.
