Credit Card Mishap

Our business booked 20 rooms for 5 days for an event we hosted.
Upon getting our monthly credit card statement, we were charged for one of the rooms - $300 bill.
We were told we would be promptly credited, however, after a week, 2 in person visits, several phone calls resulting in promises to do it "right now" - still nothing. NOW, they have already collected their money from the party who left without submitting their credit card - so HI is making money off of holding our money.
Our company credit card was given with express instructions "HOLD ONLY".
Businesses beware of giving your card as hold only. I would suggest NEVER doing this - I have learned my lesson and will be moving all our business to the Jameson Inn across the street - less money and better rooms.
