Good value, pleasant surroundings
I really liked this hotel. Throughout my life I have traveled extensively and have probably seen it all, the good, the bad and the "what were they thinking" places. This hotel tries hard to please and they succeeded with me. When I checked in I asked for a room that was not near elevators or stairs or ice machines as I was staying a week and I wanted to be as comfortable as possible. What they gave me was perfect. Including the large private balcony for some very pleasant evenings spent over a glass of wine and rambling conversation with a friend. I also spent time in the pool and jacuzzi with some little friends (preteens) and had no complaints. The only disappointment I can relate to you was the food that was available. They serve a buffet in the mornings that in my view could use some tweaking. Cold dry eggs and hard pancakes is no value regardless of the price. The coffee also could use rethinking, it seemed watered down and flavorless. I ended up foregoing this unappealing array and would shoot out to starbucks or coffeebean for my morning breakfast needs.
Overall I would return as the staff was friendly and accomodating and the premises were clean and attractive.
