Ca Malipiero Suite, Venice

The hotel is very close to St Marcos and the Rialto although it took us 2 hours to find it when we first arrived!! That was due to the lack of detail on our maps, nothing to do with the directions given to us by the hotel. When we finally arrived we were a little overwhelmed by the size of the room. It was vast and had an amazing painted ceiling. It also had padded walls and everything was upholstered, even the fridge!The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast in our room each morning was excellent. The hotel is very old and looked as if it needed a bit of a facelift but we enjoyed our stay and would return. My husband is disabled but didn't accompany me to Venice. As there is no lift, I think the stairs up to the hotel would have been too much for him or for anyone with limited mobility.

During the Easter week of 2007, we visited Venezia. We had a reservation at another hotel, our Hotel room was given due to a late arrival because a flight delay. We found Ca Malipiero Suite. Great Location. Friendly staff. They even set us up to visit Murano free of charge. Great Hotel. Room was VERY big and bathroom very clean.
