Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penns Landing, Philadelphia

We booked a night for Thanksgiving evening, and the price (about $130) was a little better than comparable good hotels in the downtown area. The view was beautiful, with sights of the Delaware on the left, historic Pitt on the right, and the pool (through the glass ceiling) below. The room was a good size, even though it was probably the "value" size and rate. All the staff was very attentive. The cardkey requirement for the elevator is added security. We flew into Pittsburgh, intending to take a rental car out (Avis location was in the hotel garage) so we were determined to not taxi or drive the short ride from the Pitt airport (which is fairly close to downtown). But, we were told this hotel doesn't have a shuttle, so we took the train and buses, which were not bad (people were friendly, at least on the holiday) but required several transfers. Anyway, after dropping bags at the room, we strolled back across the street to old downtown Pittsburgh, which is well maintained and developed, romantic, and historical. So this is hotel is recommended - book through their reservation desk and hope they get a shuttle.

We stayed for three nights. The hotel was very pretty, but there were kinks that needed to be ironed out. One example is the breakfast buffet, which never seemed to be stocked with food or dishes. Of course, once we asked, everything was rectified.

This hotel had a night veiw that was spectacular of the waterfront and downtown Philadelphia. It was easy walking to Constitution Hall and historic points. And it was close to the El (Phillies metro line) that was located on 5th street. Love it and will return!

I loved the room and the hotel, it was both elegent and the staff was very friendly and helpful in telling us things to do in philadelphia.

I loved the location, close to everything, we stayed overnight to take our son on college visits. Great service, great price, graet value, and the rooms were clean and very well maintained.

This was the best hotel I have ever stayed at in my life and would be glad to have a meeting with my clients there anytime.

. people are frindley and happy.and happy nice to see ever thing so close and you have to have a good sleepand if you need help its there.

The Bed was clean and very comfortable. Roomservice was definetely a plus, so we didn't need to leave the room one night. The views out of our room overlooking the river were amazing.

We liked the friendly service, because we have two kids and travel is just not as easy as it wasy with just the two of us. When we got there, the kids were greeted with a bag full of goodies and a Philly zoo key. They really had fun. That is what is most important to me.
