Super 8 New Richmond, New Richmond

I am employed with a company that takes me all over the state of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois and Upper Michigan. I made my reservation for this hotel, and when I went to check in, they "misplaced" my reservation, and had to give me an alternate room. Turns out, it was a smoking room (I do not smoke) that smelled like urine. When I went to front desk to complain, they told me they cannot do anything about it, and it will have to wait until morning. That was late Monday night. To make a long story short, the rest of the week, my room was neglected, no matter how many times I complained, housekeeping never cleaned the room or replaced the towels. The following week, I stayed in a different room, and after two days, I was banned from the hotel for, as the General Manager worded it "leaving a mess in the bathroom." When I asked what kind of mess, she so kindly replied "It's my day off, and I don't want to deal with you." I will never stay in this or any other Super8 again.
