I think the hotel is top notch, starting with the lobby area, which was beautiful. The front desk staff is always helpful, as well as professional looking. The breakfast area was very clean with a nice variety. The rooms were nice clean and cozy. My family enjoyed their stay there and we will stay there if ever in the area again. I find the previous review very hard to believe.
The service in this hotel is very unprofessional. Upon going to the front desk with concerns (after calling 30 min prior and being told my concerns would be taken care of) I was told to go (myself) and find the manager on the second floor. The front desk employees, who were anything but neat, clean, and courteous, refused to provide me with their names or corporate contact information for the hotel.
The walls in this hotel are paper thin. You can hear a light switch being turned on in the next room. If there is a loud party going on in the room right above yours until after 2AM, the hotel staff will do absolutely nothing.
Upon going to the continental breakfast, we met other guests who had various complaints. These included cleanliness and toilets that would not flush. All agreed they would never stay in one of these hotels again.
Avoid this hotel at all cost.
I stay here every year for a convention.
Pros: clean rooms, indoor heated pool (only one nearby), breakfast had good variety, dining area clean, computer in common area, linens clean and relatively new, bathrooms adequate, indoor corridors
Cons: staff young and not so helpful, rates a little high (but the kids love the pool)
