AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
By LCpl. USMC, 8/7/11
for the $76.77 it cost to stay here for 1 nite I must say it was perfect not a single thing to complain about. The staff was very friendly and they let us sleep in past our check out time by 2 hours. The rooms were cozy but very comfortable. Everything was clean and neat. I will definitely be staying here again

We will not go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/11/11
The staff at the hotel was very pleasant and helpful, however the cleanliness of our room had a lot to be desired My son's white socks looked like he had been running around in the dirt after walking around the room in only his socks. Also on coming back to the room on a saturday afternoon our room looked like someone had started to clean, but never completed as one bed was not made, trash was not emptied, and towels were not replaced. I also did not feel comfortable walking in the lobby in the evenings with out my husband as there were several men who just hung out, watching everyone.

Helpful Staff
By Jim, 5/21/10
We stayed for over a week while house hunting in the area. First impression was that it was a nice place with a very friendly and helpful front desk staff. They have a public computer in the lobby but it was extremely slow. Free continental breakfast in the reception room every morning where you can make your own waffles! Flat screen TV tuned to the news, perfect! Also on M, Tu, and Wed from 5pm to 7pm, they have free snacks in the same room with drinks. Nice little touch. Washing your clothes is limited to 1 w/d on the top floor. Its a little pricey to dry them since the dryer doesnt do a good job but at least you don't have to leave the building. Excercise and a hot tub is available across the street in their sister hotel. We had a suite which included a sleeper sofa, microwave, fridge, flat screen TV, mini sink (kitchenett). At first, the room appeared to be clean but upon closer inspection I found the fridge was in dire need of defrosting and the carpet needed steam cleaning in a bad way. I walked around with white socks to discover the bottoms were browned in minutes. Vacuuming was haphazzard. You can actually see a fine coating of gray dust under the chairs and up to an inch away from all the walls. In my house I get out the hose to get those areas. Since we stayed so long and slept in, we left the Do No Disturb sign on the door 24/7 and took it upon ourselves to drop off linens and trash. The maids were always good about giving us towels/supplies as we asked for them. The bathroom was spotless. Large shower with a shower curtain that extended away from the tub, nice for big folks. The night deskman was awesome as well. I thought it was a tad pricey but I would stay again and would recommend it to others as well.

Home away from home!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/24/08
I have stayed in this Microtel about 200 or more nights in the past three years as my works takes me to this area for months at a time. The staff is always friendly, courteous and helpful. My room of choice is their suite with couch, refrig and microwave. (Long term guests can negiotate better price.) When their conference room was not booked by paying clients I was allowed to use the conference to spread my work out. What a lifesaver! Free WiFi, free long distance calls, adequate breakfast (comparable to other hotels) and afternoon (5-7) snacks on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. And earning free stays which I use for personal vacations. A great bargain. In fact, I am staying there tomorrow night - for free!

Do Not Disturb
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/16/07
my husband and i wanted to stay over night so we stayed here. The staff was very helpful and nice. it wasnt so bad at all, it was very clean. the room were kinda small but if you are only staying a short time and no more then 2 people then its not to bad.just make sure you leave a, DO NOT DISTURB sign on your door if you are staying later then 9, cause check out is 12 but housekeeping was banging on our door at 9 so that was annoying but other then that its worth its money!

Awesome time in Bossier City
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/12/07
Microtel made our stay in Bossier City totally awesome. The price just could not be beat for the location of this hotel. So close to the Boardwalk, restaurants, casinos and golf courses. The bed and pillows were great. Secondly it didn't just smell the clean, it was clean. Starting with the lobby, the kitchen and the room itself. Last but not least the staff, especially the girl at the front desk, were so helpful every time we had questions, she had the answers for us. The rooms are a little on the small side but for two people it worked out just fine for us. Microtel never comes to mind when looking for a hotel but it will definitely come to mind from now on if this is pretty much the standards for this hotel chain. Again thanks to Microtel and their staff for such an awesome stay in your beautiful city.

On my first visit to Bossier City my husband and I stayed at the Microtel and loved it. I found the rooms to be neat and cozy. I really enjoyed to seat in the window seal.

WE CANT WAIT TO GO BACK
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/17/05
WE ENJOY STAYING AT THIS MOTEL IT'S CLOSE TO EVERYTHING AND IT'S CLEAN. THE ONLY THING I FINE WRONG IS THAT THE ROOMS ARE TO SMALL AND THAT THE TV NEED TO BE ON A LOWER STAND. THE BREADFAST COULD USE SOME IMPROVING. BUT THE EMPLOYEES MAKES UP FOR THAT THEY ARE VERY NICE. CHECK YOU IN FAST. I STAY AT IT ANY TIME WERE THERE.
