SpringHill Suites Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, Manchester

My husband and I stayed 8 days at this hotel and they were all wonderful. The hotel is clean, well maintained. You feel as it's an apartment because it has a bedroom, a little living room and even a mini kitchen with a sink, microwave and mini fridge and a coffeepot with regular and decaf coffee. Moreover, there's free parking, an exercise room, inside pool and spa, internet, free hot breakfast including oatmeal, waffles, cereal, scrambled eggs, hamburger patties, toasts, fruit, etc. There's also free coffee 24/7 in the lobby and 2 newspapers. There's also a laundry room and they give you free soap and softner. Who could want more? Ah yes, there's even a shopping mall with Macy's, Sears, JC Penney etc. only about 2 kilometers away.

When I made my reservation I requested connecting rooms as we were traveling with our three kids. On the day we were suppose arrived I called and reconfirmed the connecting rooms again. Was told we were all set. Arrive at 9:00 pm and when we got to our room we could not open our side of the connecting door. The door was so badly bent it bulged out in the middle of the door by 3-4 inches. I called the front desk and was told there were no other rooms available. Went down and asked if they would call around and see what was available. Nothing else available so we stayed. No maintenance person on duty. A lady from the Homewood Suites across the road did come and finally got it opened. Told that maintenance would fixed it in morning. When we went down to the next morning the man at the front desk said "Oh yeah, that doors has been that way for awhile." Breakfast was cold. We found a different hotel for the next night and will never stay there again. Daughter also found a bunch of dark hair on her bed, we are all blonds.
