Bristol Hotel, Amman

only the breakfast was ok Negative: - during a 4 day stay, the "forgot" to clean our room twice - impossible to sleep - walls are so thin that you can follow everything what is said and "done" in the room next door and believe me, this went from telephone calls at 3 a.m. until other "activities" that i shall not mention... - front desk: only two members of the staff were friendly - concierge: no help at all, except a bad and useless photocopy of a part of the map of the city - we asked for a wake up call at 3 a.m. and the front desk immediately suggested to bring breakfast at 3.15 to our room. No wake up call and no breakfast and when we called the front desk... well... they forgot... what's the problem??? Worst experience of our life!! Hotel should be erased from the map!!!!

I was lucky to have been assigned a room at the Bristol while on layover awaiting entry on business to another country. The hotel manager (Hani) treated me like I was an embassador from the US. I was very impressed with the attention to even the smallest details like making sure I had a cab available to me for shopping excursions. The food & beverage manager (Ali) took time to ask me at every meal if everything was satisfactory. I even had an incident with one of the cab drivers taking me to places to shop where the owners were paying him to bring me even though i wanted to spend monies elsewhere. The head of security took the cab information and brought the offending cab driver to address the issues immediately

The overall facility cleanliness (e.g. lobby, gym, restaurants, etc.) is fine. Guest room facilities need improvements - bedsheets are not clean, no 'true' non-smoking rooms, pillow cases are dirty, no in-room slippers. Restaurants staff are not responsive - need to be reminded many times.

I stayed at the Bristol Hotel for 14 days and loved it. Great service and nice rooms. The breakfast buffet was amazing and room service was also delicious. Free wireless internet in the rooms was fantastic. The gym was also very nice and I found the location to be very convenient for my purposes.

The location is great, service is wonderful. I've had a very good time there. The rooms are clean, decorated nicely. Food is great, a very big selection and different types of Arab and foreign food.

We had our wedding on July 30 2005 on the Hotel's open-air swimming pool and it was amazing.. the whole party was very well organized, we discussed every detail with the event manager before our night and he was so kind with us... during the party, our wedding supervisor was with us the whole time checking if we're satisfied with the whole thing.. they even recommended for us a very good party organizer that added a magical touch on the party (DJ, fire works, photos, etc..) Moreover, the buffet was perfect and everyone loved the food. It was delicious. All in all, if you are planning for ur wedding, we highly recommend Bristol Hotel as it's the best in all aspects.. not to mention the suite we slept in on our first night.... If you stay in this hotel don't forget to visit the Jazz Bar inside. Really CoOL

I have had the fortune to have stayed at the Bristol Hotel on several ocassions. I have found the management and the staff to be the most professional and courteous of any hotel establishment. The rooms are grand, with a very roomy floor plan and bathroom. The dining is exceptional, with several restaurants from which to choose. And, if security in the Middle East is a concern, rest assure that the Bristol management has ensured that your visit will not be disturbed. I highly recommend the Bristol Hotel of Amman, Jordan!

I stayed in the Bristol for 16 days. The service was excellent and the food was superb. Everything from supplying delicious packed lunches to the wonderful buffet was delightful. The pool was not open but the gym was excellent. The laundry service was swift and well done. I would definately stay there again.

During my vacation to Jordan, I stayed in Bristol Hotel for 3 days and I am really shuked from their bad service.
