Dislikes-oh where to start! Room was not what we asked for and when speaking to management about it we were told it was our fault for not double checking. When we reserved it, we specifically asked for a two ROOM suit, WITH A DOOR and fold out couch-there was no door, and the space left after the couch was folded out was 6 inches wide and nearly impassable in the dark on the way to the toilet. We had to sign a "no parties" agreement, though apparently the little league teams that were allowed to run all over the hotel shouting all night and all morning were exempt from this clause of the contract. We got no sleep.
I will never, EVER, stay in any Fairfield or Marriot again. The staff at checkout were rude and unhelpful, telling us that we have to expect this kind of thing as they cater to groups. If we'd known that when reserving, and really I do not think it is out of line to expect them to tell us they cater to groups rather than individuals, we'd have not bothered, and gone with Hampton, which is normally our first choice.
Finally, when our complaint was responded to via email, we were told we'd get a refund of $20 for the lack of sleep due to the little league teams being allowed to run wild. It has never appeared.
Horrible management, lackluster customer service-really they couldn't have been more obvious about the fact that they didn't give a monkeys backside. Adding to this that the construction means that it takes half an hour to get from the highway to this hotel, when there are two hotels much closer to the highway that are not obstructed by construction, it couldn't have been a more unpleasant stay.
