6 reviews for Wall Street Inn, New York City
Very nice quiet hotel, close to subways
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/22/08
For my first prolonged visit to New York I wanted a nice hotel and this was it. The beds were so comfortable and the area was very quiet after a long tiring day sightseeing. While the bathroom had no counter for toilitries, it was all beautiful marble w/great towels. Had a fridge and in room safe and the windows opened to the cobblestone street below. Nice continental breakfast. But a fresh pot of coffee needs to be made for the evening coffee/cookie service. Close to subways so a quick trip to midtown and a very fast walk to Battery Park if you're seeing Lady Liberty. Great restaurants behind the hotel and a Duane Reade not too far away along w/Crumbs Cupcakes on Beaver St. The mirrors needed a dusting along w/the thingamajig that holds the soaps/shampoos in the bathroom. Maid service was great. Front desk was helpful w/maps and directions but for the life of me I couldn't find the BofA that was supposedly 2 blocks away. Oh well. Still a very nice hotel. If you're looking to be away from the action, want a nice quiet place but still close to some attractions and the subway, this place is it.

Would Stay Here Again in A New York Minute =)
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/13/07
The Inn was so refreshing. Very Clean, friendly staff and most accomodating. It was QUIET at night and we were able to sleep!! Our last visit to NYC we spent in the theater district and it was too noisy, not to mention crowded. We particularly enjoyed the nice variety of the restaurants just steps away on the cobblestone street. So quaint and charming and close to the Seaport, the Broolyn Bridge walk, and the Fulton Market. My husband and I are very picky and we enjoyed our stay at the Wall Street Inn and would definetly stay there in the future and have referred this Inn to all of our friends. Pleased from Washington State =)

excellent
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/08/07
This was a wonderful hotel. It was clean, bigger room than I thought, and the staff was very pleasant. Nice location and it was easy to hop on the subway. I would certainly stay here again.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/05/06
This hotel was perfect for this trip - close proximity to South Street Seaport. The room was nice, clean and it was a terrific value!

Great Little Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/09/05
Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, adequate complimentary breakfasts. Off the beaten path but close to cabs and action. My two friends and I were comfortable and our few requests were promptly granted. The only drawback was the closet. For three women, it was terribly small.

Downtown Paradise
By Lorenzo, 08/23/05
This place is perfect when you are working late downtown and you want to stay focused. It does not have the amenities of the midtown hotels but the price is right and the roms are rooms are wel appointed. Nice furniture. Very clean. Decent free breafast.
