You have to see it to believe it
We just returned from WL this weekend and had a wonderful time. It's a good thing the lobby has so many seats, because once you walk in, the sheer grandness of it's beauty will almost make you feel faint. The beds were a bit firm for my taste, but still decent. Standard rooms feature either 2 queen beds or a queen and 1 set of bunk beds. Just watch your knees- the Mission-Style platform bed footboards end right where your knees begin and almost take them right off. If possible, ask for a woods view room, preferrably on the 5th floor. We had a view of Cinderella's castle and a first rate seat for the "Wishes" fireworks show from our balcony. Roaring Forks and Whispering Canyon cafes don't provide great food, but the upscale Artist's Pointe does. Most of the staff were great- only two people were a bit un-Disneylike, but not enough to ruin our trip. Easy access to Magic Kingdom and Fort Wilderness (which features outdoor campfire movies everynight while roasting marshmallows!). All in all, we're already looking forward to booking our next vacation at this hotel. I've rated this value at 4 stars because although it is a bit expensive, it's a true value for what you get in return. Be sure to rent the Water Mice while you're there- it's a great way to see all the deluxe resorts from a different perspective.
