Good Value
By Anthony S, 2/23/10
We stayed with a family of 4, two young children. I would say this Hotel is a good value. The staff is not what I would call super friendly, but they were helpful when asked. I had a broken screen that never got fixed after several requests. Would have been nice to sleep with the windows open instead of the AC on. The pool could have been warmer, or at least adjustable, when it was a little chilly and cloudy out. The workout room left a lot to be desired, only a couple of treadmills, a step machine, and a stationary bike. The treadmills were very small and would catch when you ran on it. The dining area for the breakfast was very small and cramped, even for this off time of year. The positives are also many. The hotel is very clean, and the area seems very safe, even with my small children. The main positive for this hotel is location. It is not "right on the beach" expensive. But, there are several beaches within a 20 minute drive (not many miles, but traffic is pretty thick in the area) When you come to the area be prepared to pay to park pretty much anywhere *rates right now are 2 dollars an hour*, and 6 dollars to cross the bridge to Sannibel Island. . Also be prepared for great weather, sunny skies (most of the time), and great beaches and wonderful family memories.

Good Location
By Twoputt, 6/8/09
We like the location, very convenient to get to Sanibel and Captiva islands and the Key West Ferry in Fort Myers Beach. For the price paid it was a good value. Rooms were clean. Hotel was very noisy due to a basketball team staying there. Would have liked more choices for the continental breakfast.

A wonderful "standard hotel" getaway
By Nick, 1/29/08
My girlfriend and I stayed here on a last-minute, long weekend vacation, and it was great for what we needed. The hotel looks good inside and out, and is well placed to Sanibel Island and North Ft. Myers Beach (within a half mile, I guess, of the bridge to Sanibel, with plenty of green surrounding). The room was affordable. The bathroom was clean and bright, with a fan strong enough to disperse steam from very hot showers. Service was prompt when we needed it, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and the heating / a/c worked fine without any room air difficulty. We didn't know about the heated pool until we got there. That was great as well (until it was time to get out into the cold evening air). The drawbacks were extremely minor: the road noise from the main road is a bit obvious at the pool (not a problem in the rooms), and the floral pattern of the bedspreads were hideous. All in all, a pleasant surprise for the price range.
