Hilton Garden Inn Independence, Independence

The room was very large and very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The lobby was airy and spacious. The service was EXCELLENT. They seemed to genuinely care that we had a good experience (fresh cookies and water at check-in, crib delivered to our room, restaurant recommendations, etc). The attitude and friendliness of the staff far exceeded my expectations. The location of this hotel is also ideal. There are TONS of restaurants within the immediate area as well as a very nice mall and other shopping areas. It is reasonably close to the stadiums and to the historic attractions in Independence. The breakfast buffet, while not included in the room rate, was delicious and definitely worth the $7.95. They seemed to offer every possible breakfast item you could want. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, outside downtown KC but close to the interstate and easy to get around, super value. Messed up our reservation initially but made it right immediately. Going back again next month.

I attended a conference there and it was so nice to have my room so close. The rooms are spacious with plenty of room to set up our portable crib. The pool and spa were wonderful as well!
