Comfort Inn O'Hare South, Franklin Park

nice but not perfect refurbished older facility in good but not great area with decent access to most of chicago area. Close to Ohare ok part of town. felt safe but wouldnt have run up and down the street at night waving cash. Was pleasantly suprised to arrive and be greeted by extremely nice and courteous english speaking staff and managment who apparently have a few properties in the area including a resturaunt which serves alot of Polish food (yum). Nice smaller indoor pool and spa. weight room. Like a few others i was a little worried about a few of the reviews, but spent 4 days here and would not hesitate to return. If you are a choice privleges member, i doubt you will find anything with the indoor pool and spa for 8000 pts. which is why i chose this property. although i did not use, i saw airport shuttle there often and saw some airline employees in and out kind of a mixed bag of guests here but no issues at all. not a fancy breakfast area but the free breakfast had good pastries ok coffee and biscuts gravy waffles and fruit. Room very clean and recently spruced up but no couch in my king? no biggie but would have been nice. Newer desk chair dresser and lights and comfortable bed. Only true gripe would be the shower. I am a shower lover and man this one left alot to be desired. whining faucet hard to dial in, fluctuating, and the biggie for me low flow..... i think it was a half baked stab at water savings which i understand but in my opinion it was the weak point of the stay. dont let that run you off. i think the water is there you would just need to change the shower head. Overall solid stay. you be happy if you arent some hoity toity marriot type. Parking lot is small but seems to be just right cause it was alway near full but never completely full.

The Staff was very helpful! The rooms were extremely clean! The price and location was perfect! I checked out after two days, only to come back for a third as I did not care to stay anywhere else. I read poor reviews but I cannot see any ill fated areas whatsoever. No bugs, not problems, and just right for my staying pleasure and comfort. I will be back!

I stayed here this weekend with a friend and in the morning when I got up I noticed a bug crawling on the pillow. After checking the bed we started finding more and more bed bugs!!!! It was gross and really devastating to know that we slept with bugs!!!! When I complained they acted as if they were not aware of this problem. I recommend for people to look for elsewhere to stay otherwise you might bring some bed bugs back into your home!!!!

the bathroom wasn't clean. there was hair in the shower. there was no luggage carts. stay somewhere else.
