Hawaii Prices in the Gold Country
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/19/05
The Cottages are certainly lovely to bring a family but the prices at the cottages are way over priced and when you consider the high tax on top of the price plus the extra charges for the use of some of the items inside the cottages (i.e., the barbecue pit), an average weekend stay could break the family vacation bank.
We've enjoyed the Cottages in the past but it certainly makes better sense to split the stay at a cottage with another family since each night will cost a small fortune. This type of getaway, no matter how you slice it, is not cheap! I'd rather spend a week in Hawaii than to pay the price of a week in Angel's Camp on a golf course.
