Exceptional Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/24/09
Would advise anyone traveling to Beaufort SC area to book at the Sleep Inn in Beaufort. We were greeted by 2 of the most pleasant, helpful, smiling staff and checked in immediately. Our room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom immaculate. The Sleep Inn was pretty crowded but our room was so quiet we couldn't believe that so many other people were there too! Breakfast was better than going to a restaurant! And the woman who was in charge of the breakfast area was always available and had a smile for everyone. We were very impressed when the manager came out to the lobby area and started to talk to the different groups of guests. The pool area was lovely and relaxing and again immaculate. Oh and the pillows in the rooms--best we've ever slept on! Wish we could have bought a few to take home! We highly recommend the Sleep Inn in Beaufort for giving exceptional service and quality for a very reasonable price.

Great place to stay
By Heather, 07/27/09
This was my first trip to Beaufort and a return trip for my ex-marine husband. I was very pleased with the sleep inn. The staff was very friendly and willing to help in anyway that they could. The room was a smoking room but I would have never known it because when you open the door you smell nothing but cleanliness! The room was perfect for a two night stay. The only thing I would change was that the oversized shower had some type of ledge of step in it so a person could shave their legs more easily :) .

PI Graduation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/29/06
I understand that every business is suppose to make a profit, but my room rate went up from 89.00 a night to 129.00 when we added an additional person. In our room, between the beds, the hotel staff had cut a 9 x 12 hole in the carpet and instead of repairing it, they just laid the cut piece on carpet over the hole. I guess we weren't suppose to notice it. In addition, the hallway was dark and dirty.

Never again.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/26/06
Worst experience I've had in a very long time. The room was Ok but the ice machine down the hall sounded like it was going to blow up. Personnel need some education in hospitality etiquette, rude and antagonistic.

Don't stay here!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/22/05
We called to check on pricing while on our way to the hotel and were quoted $64.00/night. There were only smoking rooms available so they recommended that we keep calling to see if a nonsmoking came available before we got there. We called an hour later and they quoted us $80.00 and said that they couldn't go lower than that. Then, when we got there, they said $89.00 was the lowest that they could go (even with a military discount). I had family staying in other rooms paying only $75.00, without a military discount! The lady behind the counter was eating when we walked up. She was the most unprofessional individual I have ever encountered! She was dressed inappropriately which was unsightly to begin with. She had TERRIBLE communication skills, also.... I can't believe SLEEP INN chooses to represent themselves this way. It was disgusting. If you have any standards at all, SLEEP INN is not the hotel for you.

We highly recommend staying here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/13/05
We traveled to Beaufort, SC to see my son graduate from the Marines and we`ve had wonderful experiences staying at another Sleep Inn and decided to stay at the one in Beaufort. I accidentally reserved the wrong room and the staff in Beaufort changed my reservation to the correct room. Our stay was wonderful. Thhe hotel was nice and clean and the staff was so helpful. We highly recommend staying here. This was my sister`s first time staying at a Sleep Inn and she enjoyed her stay, too.

Awful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
The Service was awful. The Management was awful. Reservations were made for rooms but meant nothing, as they were given away. We had to sleep in rooms with other family members and friends on the floor. Disgusting how we were treated.

A Great Value
By EmilyL, 07/14/05
The staff was very helpful and cordial. The continental breakfast was unbelievable with a variety of choices. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was close and convenient to Parris Island.
