Extremely pleased after our FIFTH stay!!!
By Megan, 12/21/09
We used to stay in Baton Rouge off Acadian Thruway BUT THIS IS OUR NEW PLACE TO STAY IN BR!! Closest hotel to airport that is not in plane noise, we really liked it staying there for a week last June after a pilot friend recommended it and for weekends four times since. MOST COMFORTABLE BEDS ON THE PLANET. Area is super safe, behind the hotel is an upscale residential neighborhood and it is in a suburb noted for being quiet and safe but with easy Interstate access and minutes to Baton Rouge. There is a great park nearby. For the money it is the best. Ask the front desk and the will tell you the numerous good nearby restaurants, also for the site seers ask about the celebrity owned home on Lavey Lane, you will pass it on the way to the airport the back way.

Avoid!
By vicagva, 03/24/09
Booked rooms 6 rooms online, when we checked in they had overbooked the rooms, so we were given king beds instead. Remodeling was being done, good thing because the hotel looked like it was falling apart. Door handles were falling off. Staff was rude when we asked for extra towels and blankets. I would spend a few extra dollars and stay at a better hotel next time!

Excellent for the price of $80.00 that we paid.

I went there as it is located just 3 miles from the airport. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Rcently renovated bathrooms are really nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I just left this hotel its much better the front desk was very helpful. We had towels the service on the bottom floor was great, the pool was real clean, the rooms where real fresh. We where checked in really quick we didnt have to wait. They were remodeling the restroom with marble and I had a great time just talking with the employees there. Thanks Everyone you made my stay....... :=)

Hotel on the Highway
By calvin, 05/23/07
The staff was friendly and somewhat helpful. The overall service was fair. However, the facility is located on a major highway and the traffic can be challenging at times to enter and exit the parking lot.

Keep driving
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/25/07
When we first arrived there, that wasn't a clean room availible for us. Then the front desk charged my twice for the room. After we finally received a room, we had no towels, so we called down, and we never did recieve towels. Luckly i came prepared and brought some. The frige that was provided was dirty and still had old food in it. The tub wasn't clean either. When we decided to go out for the night we discovered that our door didn't lock, when i reported it to the front desk their first answer was it's okay no one will go in your room. then after further investigation of the "door" since they couldn't move me into another room because they had no more clean. we found out if you lift it up a little bit it will finally lock. Some of the hotel staff acted like they were going to die if they spoke to you. and they have no elevator.
