Not even staying

I chose not to even stay at this hotel after two telephone conversations with April. I was quoted one price for multiple rooms(politely) only to be told a different price ($80 more)a few hours later when I called back with my card to pay. She was in a hurry to get off of work (she told me she got off in minutes)and told me I could book it right then or wait until she was back at work the next day. I was still reeling from the price discrepentcy. I was also told that since it was less than two weeks out I would be charged "x" amount if I tried to hold it tonight and change it tomorrow...I was booking for a soccer team and had already told them the first price. I did book elsewhere but called back to talk to the manager, Brady. He was very polite. I only put it here so it will be seen - this needs to be dealt with, it is a problem. I have stayed at Holiday Inns in the past (not this one) and they are great hotels in themselves, it's the people that make the difference.
