Never again!

We tried Howard Johnson for the first time and it will be the last visit. Once we opened our door to the hotel room, there was an instant smell lingering. We drove to Port Isabel and bought a few candles at the local grocery store. I figured that the humidity may have had something to do with the condition of the room. The following morning, my daughter was feeling sick and dizzy. We left the room for a few hours. After we returned, we instantly smelt the nasty odor again. I looked at the air unit and there was mold everywhere! The vent under the bathroom sink did not have a cover, only exposing more mold. Our bathroom vent and vanity light did not work, and the microwave was heavily stained. We were not allowed to have a refund after we checked out early due to prepayment.
