Microtel Inn Detroit - Roseville, Roseville

I have stayed here before and no problem. This time was completly different. The woman who worked the front desk was very nice, that was the positive. There was some type of family gathering or some type of group booked there. The kids were out of control. Didn't care about being courteous to adults in the hallway. Get out of the pool and don't dry off. Puddles in the elevator. The security guard was pretty much doing nothing about the kids wondering the halls and swearing at 3 in the morning. There was almost a fight with a teenager and an adult. The teen saying,"I'll kick that bald fat bitches ass, I don't care if she is 20 years older than me!' Security pretty much just telling them to go inside because the Police might get called. He pretty much let them do what they wanted, maybe it was because they were of the same race? I wish I would of taped and video taped the way these people acted. And people wonder why Detroit and other urban cities around the country are the way they are.

This hotel was pig stye. Carpet in room red stains all over. Sheets did not smell clean. Walls so thin that smoke from people smoking(in a no smoking facility) came into the room. Fans in bathroom loud, faucets dirty looking. Not aware this was a "ghetto area" suspicious people hanging around parking lot afraid to park my car. It was to late to find another place. getting the hell out of here at daybreak.(That is if my car is still here and not vandalized)

price was great, nice pool - not many of the area hotels had a pool. the staff was great good breakfast waffles muffins cold cereals yogurt & oj. i will stay there again.

This establishment has friendly and helpful staff. The continental breakfast is available on time and nourishing enough to get a good start to the day. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom decor is posh for a budget based hotel. the beds are comfy and everything is fresh and clean. This is the second time I have stayed here within the last year and I always feel comfortable.
