Location, Location, Location
As a person deeply affected by my surroundings, I have come to love this place. Every year we make our annual "climb the fourteeners" trip we stay here (at least one nght) and now feel it is a part of our trip as we know what to expect. Over the years there have been a time or two when the rooms may have been 90% (not perfect), but for the most part they have been sufficiently adequate to meet our needs. The breakfast room is cozy, as are the couches in the lobby with newspapers, TV... Some of the staff stay for years on end (good sign). After a long day of climbing just climb into the hot tub and relax. Oh yeah, location - you are literally a 2 minute walk to Lake Dillon. Stuff yourself for the morning on the continental breakfast and mosy on down to the lake for some quiet time with just you and God. Nothing is better. Great place.
