Dirty and unprofessional...
By Commish, 06/03/07
We stayed in the Ramada this June and the whole place was in shambles from a renovation project, that we were not told about. Secondly, there were dirty kleenex under our bed, leftover food in the fridge and dried cola products all over the drawers. The front desk spoke broken English and the Hot Tub was a joke. Please do not stay in any 'chain' hotel, if you are in Summit County. Spend the extra for a nice, privately owned lodge.

Underperform facility in nice town

Met the basic needs. After a long day of skiing, the hot tub was a big disappointment -- terrible set up and 96 degree water.

Location, Location, Location
By Jason B, 07/17/06
As a person deeply affected by my surroundings, I have come to love this place. Every year we make our annual "climb the fourteeners" trip we stay here (at least one nght) and now feel it is a part of our trip as we know what to expect. Over the years there have been a time or two when the rooms may have been 90% (not perfect), but for the most part they have been sufficiently adequate to meet our needs. The breakfast room is cozy, as are the couches in the lobby with newspapers, TV... Some of the staff stay for years on end (good sign). After a long day of climbing just climb into the hot tub and relax. Oh yeah, location - you are literally a 2 minute walk to Lake Dillon. Stuff yourself for the morning on the continental breakfast and mosy on down to the lake for some quiet time with just you and God. Nothing is better. Great place.

big disappointment
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/10/06
We spent 7 nights there and the bathroom was cleaned only once after I complained. Management did not seem to care much... Continental breakfast....but needed to beg for food because it is provided little by little.

Ramada hotel Frisco
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/06/04
Stayed here for 3 nights Aug 2004. Found it clean and good value.Staff helpful and friendly. It's handy for touring. A free shuttle bus stops just outside the hotel and takes you all over the area including into Frisco - which we found very useful in the evenings - the driver can relax for once and have a drink! You can hire bikes next door and there are superb paved bike trails for miles through the woods and around lake Dillon.
