Stay away from this place! The owner is a cheat!

The owner of this place is a cheat! He tells people at the front desk to first offer good rates for rooms. Upon check-in he will get you to sign a form agreeing to pay a certain amount for the room rent via a credit card. The form is filled using a pencil! When you check out they want to charge a higher room rate. When you dispute, the owner (an abnoxious Patel!) comes out, takes a look at the form you signed, gets an eraser out and infront of you erases what was written and rewrites on the form!! How outrageous....he thinks people will not go to the trouble of disputing the charges. People like him need to be stopped from cheating customers!

I would never stay here again

Hard beds, super thin pillow and blanket. Door lock didn't work right. On one of the rooms I stayed in the door lock fell off. The walls were super thin- I could hear people in the hallway walking by easily. The heater in the room didn't work. All told, during 3 nights I spent time in 3 different rooms because there were so many problems. It is offensive to call their breakfast that- it was only coffee and soggy bagels. The only thing good about this hotel is that there weren't bugs coming out of the walls. It was also very far from Purdue, where I was headed. The gas money you will spend back and forth can instead be spent on a better, closer hotel- avoid this one!

Homebase for Indy 500

I stayed at the west lafayette indiana super 8 (northgate drive) last year and again this year for the indy 500. my friends and i enjoyed the clean lobby, kind desk staff, ease of parking, impeccably clean room, and good list of ammenities in the room. i would recommend this hotel to anyone. i will be staying at this hotel again in mid june for the formula one race at indy because of all the reasons stated above!
