Comfort Inn, Plymouth

The room smelled like smoke and was a mess. The heater didn't work. The toilet didn't flush. The hallways were reeled of smoke. Staff wasn't helpful. The carpet was gross. The curtains in the room were shreaded. The bed linens were stained as the desk chair. You could hear the tv next door. The breakfest wasn't looking great. I wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed a night here after spending a day at Plymouth. The hotel was a few miles away from the general Plymouth downtown area. The hotel was clean, and the rooms were of good size. The pool area is nice, it seems to have been painted and decorated recently - but the pool is small. Also the water had lots of chlorine in it and is not clear. The free continental breakfast was good - there were bagels, muffins, cereals and fruits. Fresh waffles were there too, but we had to wait since only the attendants could operate it. The free internet speed was good. Bathroom and towels were clean. Nearby there are places to eat. It is also close to the Rt 3 highway. Our kids (11 and 6) liked the hotel and we will stay here if we visit the area again.

This hotel looked great. It appeared to be clean and was very modern/well appointed. As soon as we were inside our room, however, a bad odor literally smacked us in the face. (like armpit body odor) I went back to the front desk and got our room switched. The attendant was very accomodating. The second room smelled just as badly but I was too embarrassed to ask for another new room. We checked out after only one night and stayed elsewhere. I don't know if it was some sort of construction odor from adhesive in the carpet or if the cleaning staff needed RightGuard but we won't be back.
